What comes included in a standard sauna kit?
Our standard kits include precision-cut cedar or hemlock tongue-and-groove boards, a high-performance heater with stones, insulated doors, benches, flooring, and all necessary hardware for assembly.
How long does it take to assemble a SaunaKits unit?
Most of our DIY kits can be assembled by two adults in approximately 4 to 8 hours, depending on the model and your level of experience with basic hand tools.
What are the electrical requirements for the sauna heaters?
Most of our electric heaters require a dedicated 220V/240V circuit installed by a licensed electrician. Smaller infrared models may be compatible with standard 110V outlets.
How is my sauna kit shipped and delivered?
Your kit is shipped via LTL freight on a pallet. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window, and the driver will perform a curbside drop-off using a liftgate.
What is your return policy for large sauna units?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all uninstalled and original-packaged kits. Please note that return shipping costs for freight items are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective.
Do I need to treat the wood inside the sauna?
No, you should never paint, stain, or varnish the interior of a sauna. The high temperatures can cause chemicals to off-gas. We recommend leaving the wood natural or using a specialized sauna-safe paraffin oil.
